Abstract Faculty of Economics in Osijek, as an educational and scientific institution with several geographically dislocated locations and a large number of students in relation to the number of instructors, has recognized Internet as an opportunity for improving the quality of studying and scientific improvement. Therefore, a number of activities has been started lately in order to make the use of Web more frequent. The most important are improving school Web pages, instructors' Web pages, organizing CARNet courses for instructors, and Library on-line. Those activities are aimed to dinamize Web pages, make the communication among students and instructors more intensive by putting teaching materials on the Web, tracking the student learning and exams through the Web, as well as enabling students and instructors to use database resourses and other scientific information. |
