Abstract A short overview of the report from the National Academy of Sciences. Report tries to predict changes in work and development of universities, initiated with impact of information technologies, from the organizational changes through changes in teaching and learning. The authors are eminent names of american academic and bussines life. One of the conclusion is that information technologies are likely to change the fundamental relationship between people and knowledge. |
