   We suppose you are here because you are interested in new and better ways to assess student studying and knowledge, and because you want to use IT to help your students to study analytically, reflectively and effectively, and to fully understand the details, as well as the big picture.

   The purpose of our centre is to supply you with concrete practical knowledge on a journey towards a more efficient assessment of student knowledge with the help of IT. The starting point is setting the goal of a module, subject or course and looking for ways to efficiently use IT in achieving that goal. A goal is like a moving target, and this web site is like a living center which quickly supplies us with news related to the knowledge assessment and provides a forum for sharing ideas and experience. The problem area of knowledge assessment is very wide, so we will have to limit our topic to the use of IT in that process. However, we will try to at least touch on other aspects of knowledge evaluation.

  On the same note we invite all professors who want to use, explore and develop new knowledge self-assessment and assessment tools with the help of IT, to join us. Everybody is welcome and we will appreciate the ideas and joint effort to improve this Reference center.
