How to use computers in high school curriculum?
- 3 examples from high school practice (II. gimnazija, Zagreb) -

Abstract

If you would want to introduce computers and information technology into your own curriculum, how would you do it, and who would you talk to? Where would you seek methodical guidance and which existing curriculum would you consult to help you introduce information technology into your class? Are there any such examples already in Croatia?

Through the example of II. gimnazija high school in Zagreb, we're trying to form an answer, whether there is a systematical approach to introduction of information technology in our educational system. We have spoken with the professors and students to see their reaction to these changes; and to discover if it is possible to find the support in the educational system, or is the introduction of information technology into curriculum and classrooms a result of personal engagement of individuals.
