Project application

Conditions

Any university willing to join CEEPUS network must comply with the following conditions:

  • mutual recognition of duration of studies between universities within the network
  • willingness to develop common curricula and syllabi in order to enable mutual recognition of studies
  • lectures and courses must be held in English, German or French
  • students involved in the programme are excluded from paying tuition expenses and fees

An individual network is made up of at least three partners (universities or colleges), two of which must be from different CEEPUS countries, with one of the partners acting as the coordinator.

Application procedure

Scholarship Application Forms, verified by the coordinator/partner, should be sent to the central CEEPUS office, which relays them to other national CEEPUS offices, depending on the candidate's destination country. Additionally, national offices are responsible for notifying the candidate about the scholarship granted.

Deadlines:

15 June - registering applications for the winter term

15 November - registering applications for the spring term

15 January - application of networks for the following academic year

(NAERF - Network Application Electronic Registration Form)

Applications are submitted electronically (Ecard), with a Letter of Endorsement and a Letter of Intent enclosed in written form; thereby universities/colleges confirm their participation in the programme.

Upon returning from the visit, a Letter of Confirmation and a completed Teacher Report or Student Report should be sent to the central CEEPUS office.

The results of the Mobility Report: Student Report, which students are obliged to submit to their national CEEPUS offices upon termination of scholarship are considered in the process of evaluation of current networks during assessment done by the International Committee on Network Quality.

Networks are applied electronically (NAERF - Network Application Electronic Registration Form) by 15 January of the current year for the following academic year, whereas the CEEPUS Head Office based in Vienna notifies the applied universities about the International Committee's decision.
