Visiting Scholar Program	This program is intended for researchers applying for support during their stay at one of US universities, with the purpose of research or research/lecturing.
Occasional Lecturer Program	This program makes possible short-term visits with the purpose of individual lectures or short-term research at US universities. A visiting lecture normally takes between two and three days. Travel expenses are covered by the Fulbright programs, whereas the costs of stay, local transport and costs of possible fee, if previously arranged, are covered by the host institution.
Scholar-In-Residence Program	This program is intended for fellows applying for scholarships at one of US universities, for the duration of one or two academic years.

Herein are listed programs eligible for non-US citizens, that is, those originating from any countries but US that can participate in Fulbright programs. For US citizens there are special scholarship programs. It is a very useful experience for a Croatian university to host  a Fulbright fellow originating from US, yet it is an even more valuable experience to apply for a scholarship within any of the three programs mentioned above, and experience what it is like to work at one of US universities or colleges.
