Foundation's Scholarships are intended for scientists of all nationalities, with a view to finance research visits to Germany.

Scholarships are intended for scientists and researchers, that is, physical persons.

Each of the programmes focuses on one of the following groups:

1. Persons of all nationalities, not residing in Germany - Scholarships for candidates not residing in Germany
2. Residents of Germany - Scholarships for candidates residing in Germany

Foundation's Awards are intended for internationally recognised scientists of all nationalities operating in all fields of research.
