This programme offers short-term fellowships (up to 6 months) covering specialist trainings at postgraduate level. The fellowships amount up to US$ 10,000 and they partially cover costs of travel and stay. The candidates should be under 45 years of age, fairly accomplished in their respective fields, and/or postgraduate students. Member countries' national committees will be notified about the possibility of a single candidate's application at the beginning of each biannual term.

The Croatian UNESCO committee will select one candidate, with the application deadline set at April 30 each even year.
