Any university willing to join CEEPUS network must comply with the following conditions:
- mutual recognition of duration of studies between universities within the network
- willingness to develop common curricula and syllabi in order to enable mutual recognition of studies
- lectures and courses must be held in English, German or French
- students involved in the programme are excluded from paying tuition expenses and fees
An individual network is made up of at least three partners (universities or colleges), two of which must be from different CEEPUS countries, with one of the partners acting as the coordinator. Croatian universities/colleges participate as coordinators in 3 networks, and as partners in 18 networks.
