|
Active WebCam is a program for web broadcasting. Program can be served by an unlimited number of cameras, which can be local (connected to the computer through USB, IEEE 1393 - Firewire, analogue, TV and other connections), remote (connected to another computer) or have their own IP address. Program can be configured to provide the video content to another computer through remote access, to work as an HTTP server refreshing the content of an HTML page through JavaScript or Java applet, to transfer the video content to HTTP server via FTP server or to copy video content to another file on a computer. Configuration determines the number of generated frames per second. For the projection you can choose a part of the surface which the camera frame includes, or you can turn on the enhancement if you need to. Any of the cameras can record video sequences or photographs. You can set activity intervals for every camera on daily basis. You can also set the motion detector with different parameters (sound signal, sending e-mail messages, taking a photograph, performing a program etc). Access to what a certain camera shows can be limited on the user level by setting up a password.
