ICQ Pro is a method of communication with other people. It can be used to find friends, colleagues and other people with similar interests anywhere in the world.

After the installation you will have to create a user account (free) on ICQ server. User account is the foundation of connection to the ICQ server as well as the foundation of your whole subsequent work. The most popular communication method is instant messaging with messages appearing instantly on the screen of the receiver. In one part of the program there is a list of active (online) and inactive (offline) people from your address book. You can use chat, send SMS messages, send and receive e-mail messages (by using e-mail client programs), transfer and share files etc.

It is estimated that around 160 million users in over 245 countries have used ICQ since it was initiated in November 1996.

Pro version contains an additional group of options which are not supported in the Lite version.
